Cassidy "Casey Cureton

Cassidy “Casey” Rae Anne Cureton, age 41, of Newport, passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 23, 2025 just 5 days before her 43rd birthday on January 28. Casey spent many years competing in beauty pageants from Tennessee, all the way to Oklahoma. She won many that she entered. Casey was a creative soul always trying new artistic things she found on Pinterest. She always had something new to show. She loved listening to many genres of music. She also loved trying new cleaning hacks she found on Tic Toc. She was a kindhearted soul and would help do anything for her family. She would help clean, bust wood, and take care of the pool. Making homemade ice cream and snow cream was one of her favorite things to do. She spent a lot of time taking care of her Grannie, her Grandmother and her Papaw before their passing. She enjoyed playing with her dogs, Gabby and Blaze. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Carroll and Patricia Cureton, and Alden and Unavee Fowler, great-grandparents Junior and Christine “Grannie” Mason, and Eugene and Aileen “Blackie” Cureton, Great-great grandmother Eula Ramsey, her aunt Regenia Mason, Uncles Alfred Gray and Ray Shropshire, several special cousins Imogene “Sissy” Andrews, Dustin White, & Erin Fowler She is survived by parents Angel and Ronald Fowler, Aunts and Uncles-Charles Mason, Mary Gray, Bindy and Dale Ottinger, Jerry & Donna Cureton, Bob Shults, Terry and Kim Fowler, Darlene Shropshire, & Betty Green, her cousins Scarlett (Hunter) Oliver, Teresa Mock, Danny Shropshire, A.J. ( Cristi) Sullivan. Ryan (Cindy) Fowler, Justin (Kate) Fowler, Melissa (Roger) Stokely, Crystal (David) McGaha, Denise (Roy) Goolsby, and numerous other special cousins. She will be missed by special family friends Ned and Brenda Ramsey, Debby Clowers and Jordyn Shadix. Casey will be dearly missed by her fur babies, Gabby and Blaze. Pallbearers are Ryan Fowler, Justin Fowler, Jackson Mason, Tyler Woodson, AJ Sullivan and Terry Fowler. The Family will receive friends from 12 pm – 2 pm on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Manes Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 pm in the Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Ned Ramsey officiating. Burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
