Christopher "Chris" A. Russell

SSgt Christopher (Chris) Allen Russell, age 53, of Parrottsville, born September 12, 1962 in Ashland, Kentucky, to Betty Russell and the late Thomas E. Russell, Jr., passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016. He retired from the United States Airforce. He was also a Parole and Probation Officer for the State of Tennessee, and had a Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice. He loved sky diving, fishing, hunting, spending time with his enormous family that were his entire life. He was a loving husband to Angela "Angie" Stiltner-Russell who were married September 5, 1981 in Richwood, Ohio. He was a beloved father to his two children, Daddy's little girl Jessica Renee~ Russell 28 (Chris Bradley) and son Christopher Kirk Russell, 24, his hunting and fishing, and auto repair buddy, (Allie Beaumier); granddaughter, Layla Christine Russell who was his princess. He was Paw to his grandson, "Boo" Jayden Ray Norton who has still never left his side. His brothers and sisters, Thomas and Patty Russell, Aaron Russell (Amy Bryant), Tangela (Dan), Georgie (Rodger), David (Crystal), Marty (Billie), Darlene, Kent (Johna), Bobbie (Carolyn), Dale and his late brother Kirk. He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews, Tommy Jr, Matthew, Abbey, Ana, Julie, Daniel, Rachel, Jarod, T.J., Matthew, Tangela, Jason, A. J., Franny, FeLishia, JaLishia, Johnathan, Cherokee, Kayle, Sarah, Tian, Ashely, Johnathan, Krystal, Adam, Chanda, Cameron, Casey, Christopher, Carl, Daniel, Brandon, Carly, Jennifer, Ernie, Sierra, Ashley, Michelle, Alex; great nieces and great nephews, KatieLynn, Scott, Kellan, Brooklyn, Caden, Gabby, Benjamin, and Madalyn, Hailey, Addison, Tabitha, Gracelynn, Chole, Elaina, Brice, Brittan, Mel, Elliot, Benjamin, Breinna, Ashley, Annabella, Sebastian and Christopher; other family and friends. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Monday, August 29, 2016 at6 Manes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for 10:00 am- 12:00 noon Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Bethel Baptist Church with funeral services following at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow at 2:00 pm in the Andrew Johnson National Cemetery, Greeneville, TN.
