Daniel Sizemore

Daniel Sizemore of Cosby lived on the Indian Camp Creek Road a Community of Cosby, the greatest blessings in Daniel’s life was spending time with his wife and son. Daniel was employed by Sevier County Board of Education at Pigeon Forge High School. Daniel attended Faith Bible Institute in South Knoxville, Daniel pastored several churches in Sevier and Cocke County, traveled the roads, preaching numerous revivals, funerals, and officiating many weddings. Daniel traveled the roads in the ministry with numerous singing groups, playing his guitar and singing baritone, Daniel loved singing harmony with his family , with loving wife Crystal and mother-in-law, Geraldine Sutton, known as “Sizemore Family”. But his passion and love were preaching the gospel in hope to win someone to Jesus Christ. Daniel was a faithful member of Laurel Branch Baptist Church in Pittman Center. Daniel was preceded in death by his dad, Danny Sizemore, grandparents Herbert and Velvie Sizemore, and Garfield Irene Shultz along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousin’s. Survivors include his loving wife, Crystal, son John, mother Carolyn (Glenn) Sutton. Sister’s Sheila (Billy) Dreblow, Michelle Sizemore, Brother Lavador Sizemore, Stepmother Kathrine Sizemore, Stepsister Natasha Sisk, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Reverend Billy and Geraldine Sutton, Brother-in-law Joe (Angie) Sutton, sister-in-law, Anita G Sutton, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and our church families. Very best friends Pastor Kevin Gibson, Pastor Zack Carr, Pastor David Newman, and Ray Ball Pastor David Carver, Pastor Jeffrey Campbell, Pastor Danny Sutton, Pastor Jerry Raines, and Pastor Robert Williamson. Special thanks to Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice, and everyone there with us through this journey while Daniel was battling cancer. In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations are to be made to Laurel Branch Baptist Church 4419 Pittman Center Road, Sevierville, TN 37862. Funeral services will be held 7:00 pm Tuesday, July 7, 2026, in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Zackary Carr and Pastor Kevin Gibson officiating. Family will receive friends 4-7 p prior to the service at Manes Funeral Home. Burial will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, July 8, 2026, in Green Cemetery in Sevier County with Lavador Sizemore and David Carr conducting graveside service.
