Farley Eugene Haynes

Farley "Farbaby" Haynes (12/12/52-1/10/15) passed suddenly at his home on Saturday afternoon. A loving, devoted husband, son, and friend, Farley received his "Heavenly Promotion" following a brief battle with cancer. He was owner and operator of Haynes TV Service, a business he shared with his father for 40 years. In addition, he was a dedicated member of West End Baptist Church for 62 years. He was preceded in death by his faithful wife of 39 years, PJ Haynes, precious father and mother, Lloyd and Jean Haynes, father and mother-in-law, Robert and Juanita Turner, and stepson, Michael Massey. Surviving family include his loving wife, Judy Turner Haynes; grandson: Amin Black ; sister: Sonya Haynes Olden; brother and sister-in-law: Steve and Frances Haynes; nephews: Justin Frasier(Marcia) and Jeremy Killion; nieces: Stacey Haynes, Cierra Inman, Miranda Henry(Josh and daughter Hailey), and Kenzie Riden (Mark and son Connor); cousins: Reba Rhea, Debbie and Mike Johnson, Sandy and Tim Childress, Ricky and Regina Sinard, Curt Sinard, Gene Sinard, Randall and Cathy Haynes, and Richard and Joyce Haynes; stepchildren: Doug Massey (Cage and Cole) and Mark and Andrea Massey (Addison and Bentley); sisters-in-law: Danese Ball (Roger), Brenda French (Winfred), and Carolyn Newman (Louis); a very special and loving mother and father-in-law, Clenzie and Bonnie Jenkins. Close friends include Freddy "Chick" and Kathy Campbell, Gary "Moose" and Anne Wilson, Gary Ellis, Larry "Yogi" and Lydia Shelton, Eddie and Gail Gray, Barry and Priscilla Ford, Matthew and Regenia Campbell, Joe Shults, and his "church family" West End Baptist Church. Also, the family wishes to express a "special thanks" to the Smokey Mountain Home Health and Hospice nurses and aides for their tender care, especially Lisa and Bessie. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 14, 2015, beginning at 5:00 p.m. at West End Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. Reverend Tom Mooty will be officiating.
