Tina Rene' Kilgore

Tina Rene Kilgore, age 63, of Newport, TN, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 22, 2025. Tina’s greatest joy in life was sharing the love of Jesus with everyone she met. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and service. Born on August 6, 1961, Tina was the beloved wife of the late Alvin Kilgore, with whom she shared 34 wonderful years of marriage. She was a devoted mother to Amber (Conard) Greene and Stephanie (Gordon) Ellis, and a cherished grandmother to Bransen Greene, Emily McCamey, and Xander Ellis. She was also excited to soon welcome her first great-grandchild. Tina is also survived by her loving sisters Elizabeth (Jimmy) Pickett and Billie (Jimmy) Carlton, and many nieces and nephews who adored their “Aunt Tina.” She worked for many years at Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice and Alps Adult Day Services, where her compassion and gift of encouragement touched countless lives. She loved to sing, visit with people, and was always ready to share her heart for Jesus. A passionate servant in her community, Tina served on numerous boards, including Kiwanis Club, Boys and Girls Club, Relay for Life, Leadership Cocke County, and East Tennessee Regional Leadership. Her greatest gift, however, was her ability to love people deeply and make everyone feel seen and valued. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her—but we rejoice knowing she is now in the presence of her Savior. “She fought the good fight, she finished the race, she kept the faith.” – 2 Timothy 4:7 The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jefferson Park at White Pine and the Social Work Staff at Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice for their kindness, care, and support during this time. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m., Thursday, July 24, 2025 with funeral services to follow at 7 p.m. in the Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Chris Cannon officiating.
