Eliza Jane Bowman

Eliza Jane Bowman, of Parrottsville, born February 1, 1934 died on April 21, 2022, at the age of 88, surrounded by those she loved. She closed her eyes here on earth to grab the hands of Jesus and her loving husband in heaven. She was a faithful member of the Jefferson City Church of God. She was preceded in death by her mother, Stella Mae Keller and her father Jim Keller, her husband of 48 years Kenneth L. Bowman, her two great-granddaughters Madison Elizabeth and Makenzie Mae Cureton, brothers Edward (Dean) Keller and Cecil (Maggie) Keller, sisters Mary (Harlan) Fortner and Irene (Edward) Cameron. She is survived by her daughter Janice Darlene Bowman, son Kenneth Randy Bowman, daughter Fannie (Randy) Masingale. Grandchildren Alecia (Jennie) Masingale, Melissa (Joe) Cureton, Carl (Jessica) Masingale, Myles Bowman, Seth Bowman and Summer Piggish. Eight great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Landon, Ayden and Judah Cureton, Leah McMahan, Sophia Piggish, Reece Piggish and Riley Trout. And, two great-great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Amedisys Home Health & Hospice and special caregivers Mindy, Michelle, Caryn, and Jeff for the excellent care they have given her over the years and during this time. Her pallbearers will be, Carl Masingale, Myles Bowman, Seth Bowman, Isaiah Cureton, Landon Cureton, Tim Cureton, James Posey and James Lovett. Also honorary pallbearer Ayden Cureton The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Manes Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, April 24, 2022 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor, Reverend Joe Cureton and Reverend Stan Kasior officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
