Rickey Roscoe Horner

February 24, 1959 - April 6, 2022

Rickey “Roscoe” Horner, age 63 of Newport, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022. Roscoe enjoyed all kinds of racing and was most known for racing drag bikes throughout the 1970’s and 1980’s winning numerous award. He was also known for being a skilled mechanic in the area. He also had a love for hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents William Coy and Nora Christine Horner, brother Jerry Horner, sister Deloris Delane Southerland, and sister-in-law Bonnie Kay Horner. He is survived by his wife Debbie Horner, children Lee Horner and wife Riann, Isiah Horner, and Amy Urban and husband Chris, step-children Robbie Lawson and Amy Graff, brother William Dean Horner and wife Kathy, grandchildren Bailey, Paige, and Aubree Horner, and Zack and Addison Urban, step-grandchildren Katlyn, Carrie, and Cayla Lawson, and Sydney, Haleigh, and Ryan Graff, nephew William Easton Horner, nieces Dawn Matthews and Karen Rogers, and other family members and friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Monday, April 11, 2022 at Manes Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life to follow at 7:00 pm in the Manes Funeral Home Chapel.
