Charles Milligan Sr.

Charles Milligan, Sr., age 83, of Pitman, New Jersey, passed away on June 15, 2026. Charles lived a life defined by hard work, dedicating 30 years of service to the Borough of Wenonah, NJ. He also served as an EMT for Gloucester County. He also served as a bus driver for French broad rafting for several years. Charles was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished stepfather, and loyal friend. He will be remembered for his strength, kindness, unwavering dedication to those he loved, and the countless memories he created with family and friends throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Pratz; his father, Thomas Milligan; his brothers, Thomas Jr., Robert, and Pete; his sister, June; and his stepdaughter, Debbie. He is survived by his beloved wife, Debbie Milligan; his children, Carolyn Susan Sellers (Paul), Chucky Milligan (Kim), and Debbie Atkins; and his stepchildren, Justin Ramsey (Rachelle), Tiffany Hysinger (Jay), and James Ramsey. 2 Sisters Janie Milligan and Dottie (Ed) Geroe He also leaves behind many grandchildren, including Shelby, Jakob, Billy, Charles, Kevin, Hannah and Shelby. 20 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Among them was a very special niece, April, whom he affectionately called “Fishman.” Three special grandchildren, Danielle Brittin, Jayden Hysinger, and Colt Ramsey, were not simply Charles’s grandchildren—they were among his greatest treasures. His eyes lit up whenever he spoke of them, and nothing brought him more pride than watching them grow. He loved them with his whole heart, and they filled his life with purpose. Charles also had a special place in his heart for animals, especially his beloved dogs, Harley, Tank, Whiskey, Lucy, and Sadie. They brought him endless companionship, joy, and unconditional love, and he treasured every moment spent with them. Charles leaves behind a family who loved him deeply and who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2026, with the funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. at Manes Funeral Home.
